Calgary homicide police are investigating a suspicious death that occurred after a fight between two drivers following a near miss in the northwest community Saturday night. Hounsfield Heights.

Police say two drivers nearly collided in the 200 block of 12 Avenue NW around 9:00 p.m. Saturday and an altercation broke out. One man was taken to hospital with minor injuries after the altercation. A second man was located in the 1500 block of 22A Street NW, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation continues and the police say there is no indication that the two men were known to each other.
An autopsy will take place Monday, which will determine whether the manner of death is criminal in nature.
