A snowfall warning has been issued for Banff for Saturday morning, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC).

The weather agency says Banff National Park could see snowfall between five and 10cm and wind gusts of up to 15km/h.

A snowfall warning is also in effect for portions of Highway 93 from Jasper to Saskatchewan River Crossing and from Lake Louise to Saskatchewan River Crossing.

“Be prepared to adapt your driving to changing road conditions. Visibility can sometimes be suddenly reduced in heavy snow,” ECCC said.
