Officers from multiple RCMP divisions are on the scene of a fatal vehicle-pedestrian collision on the Queen Elizabeth 2 Highway north of Airdrie.
Didsbury and Airdrie RCMP are on the scene on the QE2 highway north of Highway 581 and are diverting southbound traffic, a news release said Saturday morning.

Police said they expect to be on the scene “for some time” as they continue their investigation.
They are not releasing details about the injuries or anyone injured.
