const. Mark Reast testified that he had security footage of a home on the north side of Memorial Dr. SE, not far from the residence where George was examined moments before his death.

Reast said one camera on the home’s southwest corner captured a man in white pants running down the street with a second man running behind him.

As the man in white pants, George, turned to the second man, a flash can be seen on the video.

Reast said the video appears to show the individual of 5227 Memorial Dr. SE comes, where George and his brother, Dwayne Crazyboy, went to talk to Martin Wallace Yuen.

In her opening address to jurors last week, Crown prosecutor Tiffany Dwyer said the brothers were not welcome there and were chased out by Yuen and co-accused John Edward Tabler.

Dwyer said Yuen, who is charged with manslaughter, handed Tabler, who is charged with second-degree murder, a gun before the latter took aim and shot George.

The night scene captured on the CCTV video shows a flash of light coming from behind the second man just as George goes off screen.

“The flash of light appeared to be a muzzle flash,” Reast told jurors.

The second man, whom the Crown alleges is Yuen, walked back into the house moments after the flash before several other people rushed to the area where other wi
tnesses said George fell to the ground.

The Calgary man died from a single wound to the left side of his neck that severed his jugular vein and two vertebrae in his spine.

The trial is expected to last until next week.
